Reports To: Principal

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintain and be responsible for the organization, discipline and instruction in your classroom.
• Implement best-practice teaching and learning strategies into all content area.
• Collaborate with other teachers and administration to improve teaching, assessments, and data-driven decisions for individual students, classrooms, and the entire school.
• Communicate effectively, transparently and as often as needed with parents, colleagues, students, staff and administrator.
• Be flexible and understanding with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Establish and maintain high standards for student and personal growth in virtue.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

Education

• A current Minnesota Teaching License is required OR a willingness to test and obtain that license in a timely manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Effective classroom management skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to use technology as an instructional tool.
• A desire to share the Catholic faith with your students.
